Privacy Policy

JEM SportsOS provides software that helps sports organizations manage teams, schedules, communications, registrations, facilities, athlete development and related operations. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information JEM SportsOS may process, why we process it, and the choices available to users.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how JEM SportsOS is used, information may include account and profile information such as name and email address; organization, team and role information; athlete and roster information; parent or guardian information; schedules, attendance and RSVP information; program and tryout registrations; communications submitted through the platform; recruiting and development information users or organizations choose to provide; support requests; and technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
2. Youth and athlete information
JEM SportsOS is designed for sports organizations that may serve minors. Organizations and authorized adults are responsible for using the platform consistently with applicable law and their own youth-safety obligations. JEM SportsOS includes role-based access and youth-safety features intended to limit unnecessary exposure of minor-athlete information. Public recruiting profiles are designed to exclude private messages, home addresses, guardian information, internal evaluations and private coach notes.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to provide and maintain JEM SportsOS; authenticate users and manage permissions; support team and organization operations; deliver schedules, communications and notifications; process registrations; provide customer support; protect the service against abuse or unauthorized access; improve reliability and functionality; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Organization-controlled data
Organizations using JEM SportsOS control much of the information entered into their private organization environment and determine which authorized members can access it. Users should contact their organization administrator when a request concerns organization-managed roster, team, registration or athlete information.
5. Service providers
JEM SportsOS may use third-party infrastructure and service providers to host the website and application, store data, authenticate users, process website forms, send communications, support payments when enabled, and operate other necessary platform functions. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
6. Sharing
JEM SportsOS does not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be shared with the organization and authorized members to provide requested platform functionality, with service providers that support platform operations, when a user intentionally shares information, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Data security
JEM SportsOS uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
8. Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Users may request deletion of their JEM SportsOS account. When an account is deleted, associated personal data will be deleted or de-identified unless retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial-record or other legitimate obligations. Organization-owned operational records may be retained or de-identified where necessary to preserve legitimate organization records.
9. Your choices
Users may update available profile information, manage certain notification preferences, request account deletion, and contact JEM SportsOS about privacy questions. Organization-managed information may also require assistance from the relevant organization administrator.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as JEM SportsOS evolves. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
